I’ve been racing my shopping cart for YEARS! I love it to death, but it could use a little pick-me-up. I’ve decided it’s time to give the ‘ol shopping cart a little flair.

The NASCAR store has so many Jimmie Johnson car accessories but I’ve finally chosen - mud flaps! Everyone behind me will know who I’m rooting for as they eat my Race Anything dust!

What’s your dream Race Anything machine? Mine would look something like this - a little old school and big enough to haul the whole family around (and with extra turbo boost, of course)!

My grandson said his would be a magic carpet. And my granddaughter said hers would be a princess crown. Gotta love their imagination!

My little grandson is one of Jimmie’s biggest fans! We’re going to surprise him on Sunday with this birthday cake, and then cheer on Jimmie in the Pocono 400! What a perfect day!

So I was hanging out with my 5-year-old grandson on the front porch when these guys came cruising by and now he’s been riding his trike like crazy! I can’t help that the need for speed is in my blood!

Happy (almost) Arbor Day! This morning, I thought “What better day to celebrate Arbor Day than a tree race?” Here’s how it works: I’m going to take the grandkids to Lowe’s today and they’ll each pick out a different type of tree. Then, we’ll plant them at home, measure them every week, and see whose tree grows the fastest!

I bet you guys didn’t know that I used to live in Fort Worth, TX! Ahhh yes, believe it or not I was a racing cowgirl back in my day! I also used to take my kids to all the races at the Texas Motor Speedway - I’m so excited to get back there and see Jimmie go for that 6 pack!

Did you see Jimmie Johnson on the Jimmie Kimmel show a couple weeks ago? He was charismatic! He talked about meeting the President 5 times for all of his wins. But guess what?! I’ve been to the White House SIX times! Mostly for some charity work I did before my racing career back in the ’60s.

Now if Jimmie Johnson wins the next Sprint Cup… we’ll be tied!

Sometimes kids can be the pickiest eaters! But when you make a salad look like this, who wouldn’t want to eat it?!

And my grandkid’s favorite part? I tell them their bodies absorb the vitamins faster this way :)
